Natty: Presenting Liselie Gonzalez, better known as Lisie. Hi, Lisie, where are from?
Lisie: Hi, Im from Canóvanas, Puerto Rico, but my favorite surfing spots are
at the northwest side of the island.
Natty: Really? Like which ones?
Lisie: Oh, I really love Wishing Well, Jobos (Isabela), and Wilderness (Aguadilla).
Natty: Those are really nice beaches! How long have you been surfing?
Lisie: I began surfing 5 years ago, at 2005.
Natty: Regular or goofy stance?
Lisie: Regular
Natty: Have you surfed out of Puerto Rico?
Lisie: Oh, of course! I have been to Florida 5 times and next month (May 2010) im going to California to compete on the Volcom Totally Crustaceous Tour .
Natty: Hope you do great! What other contests have you surf?
Lisie: I got 2nd place at the Pro Surf Circuit de Corona Extra. Best Performance 2009 ranking 3er lugar 2008/2009, Arnett contest fl 3, Volcom contest fl 4, King of Aviones 1st place, Volcom Catfish 2nd place at Pine Grove, and 1st place at the Volcom Expression Seccion at Aviones beach.
Natty: Those are nice awards!! What do you think about the girls participation on the surfing scene?
Lisie: Women participation is really low right now, but the quality of the few surfers girls competing right now is awesome. Other girls should get motivated and began free surfing, and then get to the competing branch so we can do only girls events. We need our place too!
